The community campaign to stop the Tamar Valley pulp mill campaign is the focus of Pulping the mill, one of over 30 activist stories to be included in this book, published in May 2016. The editors were short on stories from Tasmania, and the nephew of one of the editors suggested she contact me in relation to the controversial Gunns’ project that was continuing to divide the community.  “Throughout the campaign words have been my principal weapon of choice. . .”
