Famous Reporter is a biannual Tasmanian small-press literary magazine published by Walleah Press. My essay Planted in Tasmania began life as an exercise for a weekend writing workshop whose theme was ‘place’. I dusted it off, re-wrote and updated it a couple of years later, for an assignment in the University of Tasmania’s short Writing Tasmania course, since it fitted the brief perfectly.
